WATERSTICK:

1. Mix 2 cups (16 oz.) Plain table salt with ½ gallon of water in a plastic bottle (a 2 liter Soft Drink bottle works great). Mark a line on the bottle where 2 cups of salt comes to with tape and keep the salt solution conveniently ready for the next use

2. Disconnect attached hoses, remove "Chlorine Filter" if installed and drain any water remaining in your WATERSTICK. If necessary hold vertically and blow thru top end until only air comes out the bottom connection and shake all the resin inside to the bottom so that you will be able to pour the entire contents of the salt solution into the WATERSTICK resin chamber for complete regeneration.

3. Install the cap (provided) on the outlet male hose fitting and pour all the salt solution into the WATERSTICK thru the other end.

4. Install the plug (provided) in the other end and shake the WATERSTICK to mix the salt solution with the resin beads, and then store the WATERSTICK for at least ½ hour or until the next use.

5. Remove the cap and plug to drain out the salt solution (reinstall the "Chlorine Filter" if purchased, attach the inlet hose and flush with water for 15 seconds to remove the salt solution. ***IMPORTANT*** Be sure to shake the resin inside to the exit end of the WATERSTICK for best results

Always store your Water Stick with the plug and cap on the ends to prevent the resin inside from drying out which will shorten its life.

MINI WATERSTICK:

1. Mix 4 oz. plain table salt (or POTASSIUM CHLORIDE for persons on a low sodium diet) with 16 oz. water in a plastic bottle (16 oz. soft drink or Mineral Water bottles work great).

2. Drain any water remaining in your MINI ATERSTICK. If necessary hold vertically and blow thru top end until only air comes out the bottom connection and shake all the resin inside to the bottom so that you will be able to pour the entire contents of the salt solution into the resin chamber for complete regeneration.

3. Install a cap or plug (provided) on the bottom end of the MINI WATERSTICK and then pour all the salt solution into the MINI WATERSTICK.

4. Install the cap or plug (provided) and shake for 10 seconds, then store the MINI WATERSTICK at least 1/2 hours or until the next use.

5. Flush with water for 15 seconds to remove the salt solution before re using.

CAR WASHING WATERSTICK:

1. Mix 4 oz. plain table salt with 16 oz. water in a plastic bottle (16 oz. soft drink or Mineral Water bottles work great).

2. Drain any water remaining in your CAR WATERSTICK. If necessary hold vertically and blow thru top end until only air comes out the bottom connection and shake all the resin inside to the bottom so that you will be able to pour the entire contents of the salt solution into the resin chamber for complete regeneration.

3. Install a cap or plug (provided) on the bottom end of the CAR WATERSTICK and then pour all the salt solution into the CAR WATERSTICK.

4. Install the cap or plug (provided) and shake for 10 seconds, then store the CAR WATERSTICK at least 1/2 hours or until the next use.

5. Flush with water for 15 seconds to remove the salt solution before re using.

ORIGIONAL SHOWER WATERSTICK (WITH 3" DIAMETER):

1. Using an empty 16 oz. plastic soft drink bottle, pour common table salt up to the bottom of the label (4 oz.) and fill it with water (shake to mix).

2. Lay the shower head on the floor of the shower, unscrew the 1/2" pvc plug from the end of the ShowerStick and allow all the water to drain out.

3. Hang the shower head in it's bracket, pour the salt solution in the hole and let the ShowerStick regenerate.

4. Refill the bottle with salt and water and store it somewhere handy for the next regeneration.

5. The next time you shower, by the time the water is hot all the salt and minerals will be flushed out and the regeneration is complete.

NEW SHOWER WATERSTICK (WITH 4" DIAMETER):

1. Using an empty 1ltr. plastic soft drink bottle, pour common table salt up to the bottom of the label (16 oz.) and fill it with water (shake to mix).

2. Lay the shower head on the floor of the shower, unscrew the 1/2" pvc plug from the end of the ShowerStick and allow all the water to drain out.

3. Hang the shower head in it's bracket, pour 1/2 the salt solution in the hole and let the ShowerStick regenerate.

4. Save the last 1/2 of the salt solution for the next regeneration. When empty, refill the bottle with salt and water and store it somewhere handy for the next regeneration.

5. The next time you shower, by the time the water is hot all the salt and minerals will be flushed out and the regeneration is complete.

HIGH CAPACITY SHOWER WATERSTICK (WITH 5" DIAMETER)*:

1. Using an empty 2 ltr. plastic soft drink bottle, pour common table salt up to the bottom of the label (2 cups) and fill it with water (shake to mix).

2. Lay the shower head on the floor of the shower, unscrew the 1/2" pvc plug (regeneration port) from the end of the ShowerStick (if equipped, otherwise disconnect the upper hose from the body of the ShowerStick) and allow all the water to drain out.

3. Hang the shower head in it's bracket, pour all the salt solution in the 1/2" hole (or into the ShowerStick body where you disconnected the upper hose) and let the ShowerStick regenerate.

4. Refill the bottle with salt and water and store it somewhere handy for the next regeneration.

5. The next time you shower, by the time the water is hot all the salt and minerals will be flushed out and the regeneration is complete.
